Getting married in Teylers Museum

Are you looking for a special wedding location? Come and have a look at Teylers Museum! The atmospheric 19th-century auditorium will provide an exclusive setting for your wedding ceremony or partner registration. After the ceremony, you can propose toasts in the Garden Room with champagne, and wedding cake too if so desired, with a fine view of the museum garden. Your guests are naturally welcome to look around the museum rooms, providing a delightful end to the festive reception!

Auditorium

The atmospheric, historic auditorium, where the great scholars of the 19th century gave their lectures, still has all its original decorations and furnishings. Its technological resources, however, are up-to-date. The auditorium can seat 150 people.

Front Room & Rotunda

The atmospheric Rotunda with its splendid glass dome is an ideal location for an informal gathering. In combination with the front room, it can be used as a venue for cocktails, standing receptions, and lunches.

Garden Room

The Garden Room in the museum's new wing is a modern, light-filled room with a view of the marvellous courtyard. Our museum café, which is located here, can seat a maximum of 60 people. When the museum is closed, the Garden Room can be hired for cocktails and receptions for about 150 people.
