Teylers Museum is closed

From December 15 until and including May 25, 2021

Dec 15, 2020 to May 25, 2021

In line with national policy concerning the coronavirus, Teylers Museum is closed to the public. We are following the advice as set out by the association of museums, as well as the National Institute for Public Health and Environment.

If you have a ticket for the period December 15 - May 25, please click here to change the date of your visit or to cancel your ticket. We will reopen the ticket sales when we know the official date of reopening.

As soon as we know when the museum will be open again, you can book your ticket online for a date (after the lockdown) and time of your choice.

The safety of visitors and employees of our museum is important to us. We follow the guidelines of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). We therefore have to close the museum to all visitors.

If you booked a ticket for the coming weeks we will contact you soon!

We will also cancel all planned activities. We ask for understanding for this exceptional situation. We are happy to reschedule the reservations to another time. You can of course email us at  or contact the help desk: +31 (0)20 244 2877  / support@globalticket.nl (Monday to Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.)

If anything changes to the situation, we will let you know via our website. Also check the RIVM website for the most up-to-date information.

Take care and stay safe. We are looking forward to welcoming you again later this year!

Here you can enjoy a short tour through our exhibition by our Chief Curator of Art collections Terry van Druten.
